Pachacamac August 2015
Pachacamac is Lima’s Mtb playground, this coastal hills only an hour away from Lima have lots of trails for all types of riding. They also experience big scenery changes with the seasons.
It is deserted, dry, loose and with no vegetation during summer. The exact opposite happens at winter when all the mountains are Green, cold and humid and full of vegetation. Pachacamac during winter can also get muddy, and this mud is impossible to ride, but many days and weeks offer the very best conditions like this days we had in August.
Pachacamac is an ecosystem holding many rare and endangered plant and animal species. One of the rarest flowers grows in this coastal hill enviroment called Amancaes and it can only be found for a few weeks in May and June.
Great riding and great food is also a synonym of this great outdoors and touristic district, check it out!
